Happy Birthday to My Bestie!

Today is Lindz'z birthday, and she's so far away! Studying for her Masters at Oxford, puts her 7 hours ahead of me. I tried staying up late last night and calling, but no answer. So I guess a blog post will have to work.
Lindz, I have had such a great time being your friend (as evidenced by the picture above . . .:)) We have done so many harebrained things together, I couldn't ask for a better friend. You had just better hurry up with your Oxford degree so you can come back and we can move to New York like we planned ;). Love you chica, and think about you all the time! BFF's forever (tee hee!)

Birthdays Galore!

Today is a very special day- it is Trinity Lynn's birthday! She turned 6 today and kicked it all off with a very pink outfit and food! Just check out Sarah's blog to find out what I mean.

To Miss Trinity, I love you girlie! I miss you and wish I could be a lot closer so I could play with you all the time. I have a great time when we are together and I will always remember our fun times at Grammy's- watching Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses, doing ballet for and with Uncle Curt, doing each other's hair and makeup for Thanksgiving, driving around with Boompa, jumping on the trampoline and shouting "For the DAY!", and tons of other things!

Here's to hoping the next year is a great one as well! Love you Miss Trin!

And thinking of you Sarah and Isaac. Love you too!

I like this . . . a lot!

Props to my sister Sarah for putting this on her blog. I like the idea. Let's see who gets this from me. Now those who know me know I like to do over-the-top things, so we will have to see how you do! I also know that not that many people look at my blog since I am a dork and don't update it as often as I should . . .

The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me to you....my choice...made especially for you.Of course there are some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2. What I create will be just for you.

3. It will be done sometime this year.

4. You have no clue what it will be... it may be a story; it may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something; I may bake something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure.

5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog (Only if you really want to. I will still make you something). The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!!

Okay....GO!!

Fireball Island Fiasco

Well, the law has finally caught up with me. And Fireball Island was my undoing. It all shook down like this . . .

Anne finished taking the GMAT tonight and wanted to do a victory dance. We called over a few friends for a good game of Fireball Island and treats. The game got a little intense so we opened the kitchen window to let some fresh air in. And the one's kept getting rolled so the game kept going on and on and got more intense. We were shouting and jumping up and down.

Apparently, the open kitchen window and the noise coming from our apartment disturbed some neighbors. At the same time, there was a rousing party going on down in 113.

The next day I got a call at work . . . from the Provo Police Department. One of their officers talked to me about how they had gotten a call from someone talking about "excessive noise coming from an apartment last night". Confusing 311 (my apartment) with 113, they had stopped by our apartment, and had heard us playing through the door. They knocked, but we were having such a good time we didn't hear. He also said that he didn't think the noise was excessive, so he knew it had to be 113 the person had called on. After telling me all this, and me freaking out just a bit, he added, "Fireball Island is a great game. Played it as a kid." Wow. That game gets everywhere!
